- Coe received an $80,000 grant from the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship for construction of a permeable parking lot (replacing some of the parking lost in the Eby expansion.) See the press release from IDALS and a recent story from the Gazette. The lot will include monitoring wells to allow Coe students and faculty to assess how well the practice works.
- Check out the Nitratax installed in Lime Creek at the Iowa Water Quality Information Service (IWQIS). Our site is the one between Cedar Rapids and Waterloo (near Brandon). Be sure to check out the features available in IWQIS.
