Laura Bybee, Maddy Jensen, Makenzie Skrabal, and Heather Ruiz helped out on a late fall/early winter snapshot of the Indian Creek Watershed on Sunday, November 16. In spite of two inches of snow the day before, and temperatures in the 20's, we were able to get samples from 31 out of 33 sites in the watershed. The ICWMA technical team is trying to sort out sources - particularly of E. coli - in the watershed, and these spatially finer sampling events help. The plan is to repeat in the early spring - hopefully after the snow is gone.
